OK; hubby's just told me this...the foods nearly ready so i'll type fast

There were two prawns called Sebastian and Christian.As thet swam around one day they met a magic cod.'Hi ' said the cod,' i'll give you one wish,anything you like'

Sebastian thought for a moment...'i'd love to be a shark'

'very well' said the magic cod,'a shark you are''

Sebastian was really happy, he zoomed around the ocean really fast, scaring everyone, having a great time.But gradually he realised that he had no friends left, Christian was scared of him and he had noone to hang out with.

He swam around looking for the magic cod and eventually found him 'Please turn me back into a prawn; i'm lonely' he begged.

The magic cod changed him back and he immediately swam to find Christians home.Seb knocked on the door...'Christian, let me in,i'm back!'

'No way man' said Christian-'you're scary and you'll eat me'

'I won't, I promise; i've changed...I found cod,i'm a prawn again ,Christian'

Ballistic-I should have had you with me -I was so busy thinking of new things to call him as I sat in the hedge I did'nt even think to get his number plate; mind you, i'd have had to be pretty fast as he zoomed off; it was a red fiesta with a surprised old bloke in it driving badly if anyone wants to keep a look out...can't be too many of them in GB can there ??!!

The car's ok- just scratched- and they just merge with the others

Littletoe;

...slow bend...fast road...flock of sheep...what a cliffhanger...I can almost feel the nation's breathless anticipation

it's just before Christmas when our local handsome goodguy was out trying to warn the public about a dangerous sect that ruined his life; as he tries to avoid a crazed confused old driver he hit the fence, tyres screech, a ghastly thud... the sheep scatter all over the A9, threatening the safety of all around him;being the consumate professional he is he quickly dials the police with no thought for his own horrific injuries; as he looks back at the man now approaching him he frowns...he seems oddly familiar somehow,has he seen him somewhere before...Jac, Jacraz .AAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH .RUN LITTLETOE RUN... AND DON'T LOOK BACK........................

My Dad died Saturday unexpectedly...

hi friends, my father died saturday morning.

i want to happily say that i sent my dad a print-out of some of your key material re;org, last week and he read it all...witnesses were 'on his back' lately, and he appreciated it.

keep up the positive focus..it is so important..i wanted to write more, but i guess i'm in shock 'cause i just can't do it...thanks to all of you for your support and help with all the stuff that i've been on the board about..peace and love to all of you and your families..nk

Nancy, i'm so sorry to hear about your father, that's a dreadful thing to happen. i'm so sad for you. I'll be thinking of you.

The shock took a long time to pass for me when my mother died- time was my best healer eventually

here on the pacific coast of australia it's 2:00 am and mrs ozzie and i have just returned from a candle-lit xmas service and it's now christmas day here.

the air conditioners are going flat out and the ocean temperature right now is 22 degrees celsius.

It's a beautiful clear moonlit night; i'm home from a Carol service in the town square; have set up my son's pool table (that's too big for the house - who's bright idea was that?! ) set the table for tomorrow and am just finishing off a bottle of champagne.

It's 2 AM...and Im soooo sad

its just not supposed to be like this.

i just put my jw husband on a plane to san fran so he can spend the entire holiday week out there, get this, dog sitting his nonjw brothers shitzus while he goes to visit family for christmas.

i told him i was going to miss him...and he replied, well "i wont miss christmas".

So sorry to hear all this-but youve got some great advice (and a great attitude)

Christmas was hell for us all when I was 'in'.I tried not to spoil it for my husband, and let him have Christmas with the children if they wanted to do it- but it got so bad he'd sometimes take them to his sisters and leave me on my own.That hurt- I was fighting it as I was trying to be a good jw- and yet was so lonely and did'nt feel 'blessed' for taking a stand- just unhapy and devestated to be seperated from them all.

Even though I did'nt want to celebrate it I felt very alone and it was such a sad time- I honestly wanted them to enjoy themselves- but could'nt go along with it all for fear of displeasing jehovah etc-- I hope your hubbys not sad on his own.Sometimes being on your own can feel like the best solution for everyone...

Now i'm 'out' we're having some wonderful Christmasses- it was a hard time to cope with though - which ever side of the fence you were on.

I'm glad for your childrens sakes you're trying- they'll really appreciate it later- hang in there

I hope you can both talk soon; can you set aside a day to go out and talk?

sometimes life gets in the way - my hubby would never want to- we got pretty close to divorcing; now it's obligatory, he has to listen and reply- or else!

So glad you're ok LToe; hope the palpitations have stopped and it has'nt put you off your travels...

I had a near miss with an elderly guy two weeks ago- he was on the wrong side of the road coming at me; he was fiddling with his radio; at least I hope that's what he was doing ( I too, prefered the hedge to a collision; much softer) but my would-be assasin left me there!

Keep the diary coming..we just need a few sheep related incidents and it'll rival the Archers.
